
'This is a yummy and delicious Maharashtrian recipe - Sabudana Khichadi. This recipe would serve 2. Ingredients: Sabudana - 1 cup Cumin seeds - 1 tsp Green chili - 1 finely chopped Roasted peanut powder - ½ cup Salt - 1tsp Ghee(clarified butter)/Oil - 1 tbsp Method: 1. Wash and rinse the sabudana 2-3 times. 2. Soak sabudana by adding just enough water to cover them. Just 1/4 inch 3. more than sabudana level. 4. Soak for 6-8 hrs or until the sabudana pearls can be squished easily with fingers. Strain excess water. 5. Heat a pan on medium flame and add 1 tbsp of ghee. 6. Add cumin seeds and chopped green chilies. 7. Add soaked sabudana and saute for 1-2 mins. 8. Cover and cook until the sabudana are a bit translucent. 9. Add ½ cup peanut powder and 1 tsp salt. 10. Mix well and add cilantro. 11. Squeeze 1 tsp lime juice. 12. Cover and cook it for another 1 min. 13. Turn the flame off and let it sit for 5 mins. 14. Enjoy with yogurt/curd or lime pickle.'
